NSS Activities in MITAOE College
The NSS (National Service Scheme) is a Central government scheme of India conducted by the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs. The NSS scheme was firstly started in the year 1969 in India. It is a voluntary program that encourages youngsters, college aspirants, and +2 stage students to work in creating a university grounds community linkage.
The prime objective behind the NSS program is to help everyone who needs it, to bring a productive change in the standard of living and the mode in which people lead their lifestyle with dignity.NSS Activities is a beneficial mode for both students and society in varied means includes:
Develop Democratic Attitude and Leadership Skills:
Being a participant in NSS activities offers the opportunity to students to participate in various State level and National level programs such as Motivational Lamps, National Integration, Adventure Camps, Self-development Camps, Youth exhibition, and even so forth.
Students who participated in NSS Activities get a preference and several perks in admission criteria of well-reputable universities and at employment stages.
By participating in the National Service Scheme program, students are getting a strict schedule of everyday life with fixed timings includes wake up at 5, 1 hour of exercise, and even many more. Having a fixed routine gifted a disciplined lifestyle to students.
Home-comfort fails to learn grassroots troubles of everyday life to several students. During NSS camps, different activities are assigned to students that consist of physical activities, mental power, and so on that realize the different situations that seem easy to do.
On the whole, the prime motive behind these activities is to promote the dignity of labour.
